About CarbonSilvanus

WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

CarbonSilvanus is a woman-owned small business located in the small college town of Pullman, Washington.

We are on a mission to reshape the future of the built environment and accelerate the decarbonization of civil infrastructures.

Our focus is on leveraging our transformative technology that engineers carbon-negative biochar (derived from biomasses and other wastes) and demonstrates its beneficial use in construction projects.

WHY WE DO

WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

Although the concrete industry currently contributes to about 8% of global CO2 emissions, CarbonSilvanus Company is redefining the narrative.

Our vision is clear: Harness the potential of carbon-negative biochar and other carbon-based materials to create civil infrastructures that not only stand the test of time but do so with little to negative CO2 footprint.

We are open to collaborations on two fronts:

  1. grant opportunities that cultivate new IPs relevant to decarbonization and sustainability of infrastructure and/or diversion of industrial and agro wastes towards beneficial uses;
  2. pilot demonstration of carbon-neutral and/or carbon-negative materials in field construction projects.
